Summary: Image displayed in settings should always reflect actual
avatar
Product: kopete
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kopete-devel kde org
ReportedBy: francisg gmail com
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Noticed that when you use DCOP to change the avatar (changing GlobalPhoto) this
new avatar is not reflected in the settings themselves.
So: (1) change your avatar using DCOP; (2) go to Settings -> Configure ->
Modify respective account -> User Info, and note that the old (and unused)
avatar is displayed.
I can note that the picture changes when you check the Global Photo (under
Identities), but still. I guess that when you select to use Global Identities
it should display the picture that is in that setting. Seeing any other picture
than the one which you have is unexpected behaviour.
