well, either way we seem to be heading in the direction of lots of
kontact-integration. which is a good thing imho. while I certainly
wouldn't want my contactlist and chatwindows to be inside kontact, I
want the convenience of addressbook integration n'stuff. it'd be nice
if someday it was all handled automagically, with people's bdays from
their icq accounts or whatever showing up on my calendar and reminding
me, maybe kopete history and email history searchable together, etc...
:) I'm using kontact a lot right now.

generally, I just think that it doesn't make much sense for kopete to
be in kdenetwork these days. although extragear kinda makes it sound
less official... kopete's not an extra, it should be something
everyone has by default :)
