I am saying "incomplete" because according to #alsa people there is many
applications that supports just part of ALSA. so there is applications that
supports the minimum required to work. and some who do everythink ALSA ask.
well, I understand its not easy. taking a look at ALSA. there is quite a bit.
but 2 things please.
- 1) when a jingle conversation is done: please release the alsa device for
other applications
- 1b) actually same with the camera and MSN. when the chat stops. the blue
light should come off.
- 2) my microphone works with wengo, twinkle and ekiga, which apparently has
good alsa support. my microphone is available on pcm.!default in ALSA. what
else could i try to make it work with kopete ?
receiving voice is very good quality though.
