Summary: adding a second chat account by one person, linking it
to the adressbook entry doesn't merge the new account
                    with the current one
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: jos mijnkamer nl

Version: 0.11.93 (0.12 Beta 2) (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package
4:3.5.2-0ubuntu12 dapper)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-rc3-git2-ck1

if you have a contact on msn, you can couple this contact to your adressbook. a
very usefull feature. now, lets say this person also opens a jabber account (we
all want him to, after all). now he invites you, so you link the new account
also to the (same) adressbook, and add him.

but instead of adding this new way of communicating to the existing msn
account, a second account is created, and the user has to manually merge these.

if he/she selects them both, and searches for a 'merge' option, like in
kadressbook - no, not there. select one of them, choose the last submenu and
choose 'change metacontact'. or drag'n'drop (a bit more intuitively, but i
didn't think of it at first) the one contact onto the other.

i think this should be done a bit more smart: one adressbook entry is one
person, after all. so - no questions, just merge them.
