by definition darcs is a decentralized system so there is no central repository and you can checkout and commit to your own darcs repo and sync stuff back your have write access. f you dont you can have your local repo, commit to uit, and pull updates made in the psi devs repo. Thats the idea of darcs. The painful part will be cmake while we have our own copy of iris. If iris is not really changing we could just ask for weekly snapshots or something like that. Then we can make something similar as qt-copy, kopete-jabber developers syc their repo to subversion. It is not a straighforward solution but it might work. It would work better if we can add the cmake stuff to their tree. The right solution will come when iris is released and packaged like any library.
