Allright, this is a little complicated:
I can reproduce the problem, but:
1. icq2003a has no problems with kopete svn, thus the problem will probably be
fixed in 0.12 anyway
2. the messages get send immediately, icq2003a just doesn't get it, so it seems
to be an ACK thing, which leads to
3. since no other clients complain, icq2003a is probably the culprit
4. it really looks to me like they (icq) don't really want you to use icq2003a
anymore, because the file you linked to is actually a symlink to icq2003b, only
in the NT folder there is still a "real" 2003a.
so here is my suggestion: tell that contact to get 2003b, its pretty much the
same thing as far i can tell from the 2 minutes i used it. if that's not an
option, kopete 0.12 (which will be available this month i guess) will be you
solution.
since this is apparently "fixed" in svn, i am taking the liberty to mark this
as such :)
