I was just about to write a feature request about this.
It's not useful at all to send an emoticon if the other person will see a
different one. What's worse, it could cause a misundestanding of what you're
trying to express!
Is it not the main goal of a program like Kopete, to help people communicate?
Please dedicate some time to this...
