This behaviour was first seen with the kopete delivered with KDE 3.5.3. I
updated kopete independently from KDE to see if kopete 0.12 is also affected.

Kopete automatically changes it status from offline (not away or sth.
"almost-online" like that) to online. It connects to the IM servers without any
action from the user. This happens with the jabber and ICQ-accounts. The "go
online at activity" option is not enabled (even though it shouldn't have any
impact here, but since it is also broken - see #129920 - I just wanted to
mention).
