That could have several reasons:
- the buddies are in invisible mode
- they have added you to their stealth list
- they did not authorize you to see their status
Finally your version is a bit old. If you can rule out all reasons and it
doesn't work with a newer version of kopete (0.12.2 is the actual one) please
reopen the bug.
