Hum, well, Philox, I'm like to know a bit more about the problem you mention. What distro, if it's 32bit or 64bit, what KDE version, what Kopete version, who provided the KDE/Kopete version you're using or if you compiled from source yourself. can you send me a screenshot of the green image?
Kopete outputs a lot of debug info when you run it from konsole. Can you run it this way: kopete --noconnect and after that could you open the video configuration panel and select the webcam, copy the output log and send it to my personal e-mail address? Maybe it will show me some clues about what's happening. I suspect it's something related to the image format (RGB, YUV420P) but I need the output log and the screenshot to be sure and to see how it affects the image. Ah, Kopete started as a V4L2-only code and I had to add V4L later.
