Summary: Can not connect with restricted passport.com account
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: richard.bos xs4all nl

Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

To start using MSN with kopete, I went to the MS website to
obtain a login. I choose a restricted version (I don't need
an email account) and obtained an account like user passport com / password

When entering the account information in kopete the 1st time, the connection to
the MSN server is established. After I logged out and used kopete for a
subsequent time, no connection
is made to the MSN server.... Clicking on the little MS logo
in the right bottom corner of kopete, does not result in anything. When I
delete the user and reconfigure the account
it works again.....

I tried to make an ethereal trace, but I did not see any MSN traffic.....
I know that MSN is working, as I can use kmess to contact the MSN server....
