I am using Gentoo, and I have the same problem:
"Kopete 0.12.3 (Using KDE 3.5.5)"
"kde-base/kopete-3.5.5-r2 (3.5)"
This bug is irritating as hell. And no amount of firewall configuration seems
to help.
This problem exists in both HTTP and 'normal' mode.
