incoming messages are using timestamp that came from peer client. Thus showing
time at which the message was sent to one. This is correct behaviour, and the
same happends in the original client.
I won't fix it, unless you propose something that makes sense.
As far as I can see, your problem is not the timing of messages you see in chat
window, but timestamp used in history.
