This seems to be an endless bug in Kopete. There's no way to delete a MSN
contact in Kopete for a long time, so I recommend you:
1. Live with it while this is fixed. I think it's easy, just see the server
side list, check the local list and ask about every incoherence, but for
whatever reason, Kopete just adds every contact that's in the local list to the
server side list without even asking.
2. Use Gaim. At least in the 2.0 Beta3 that I'm using, it behaves exactly as
I've described before, so now I have an organized contact list, without
duplicated entries and, gess what? I can even move contacts from one group to
another and they don't get duplicated when I restart Gaim!.
Sorry, but that bug has been in Kopete for a loooooong time and I thought it
was inevitable because I was using Kopete at home, at work and even I was using
the official MSN Messenger client, but now that I've tried gaim and for the
first time I have the same contact list everywhere I go, I just can't live with
all that mess.
