Hi list, I think I don't have to stress the importance of a Off-The-Record encryption plugin once more. OTR is needed, among other advantages, because GnuPG is just not the right encryption method for a session orientated chat.
However, I'm confused about the status of the OTR encryption plugin for Kopete. Is it even started? If it's not I will start to experiment; if it is, I want to help if my help is welcome. It would be great if the OTR ability could be integrated in the GPG-plugin. When starting a new conversation, the plugin could easily chose the right encryption to use. Who is responsible for the development of the GPG-plugin? kevin
