I can confirm this on dapper, edgy and feisty (I've had it like this for a very
long time).
I noticed that if I try to log into "http://www.hotmail.com"; manually,
everything works fine. However if I log in to "http://hotmail.com";, I get into
the same loop. I don't think this is the problem though, since
msnnotifysocket.cpp writes this in the /tmp/ file that does the redirection:
<meta http-equiv=Refresh content="0; url=http://www.hotmail.com";>
However, the problem is very much likely to be with the form that is submited
as POST just below (around line 634 in msnnotifysocket.cpp).
Removing it is one quick solution, at least you get the page up and can just
log in manually.
