The bug actually happens with **Messenger 8.0**. It took me some time to
discover as nothing is displayed then, not even the smiley name/code which is
normally written if smilies are deactivated or cannot be retrieved.
That's annoying as the contact doesn't even see a smiley as been sent (except
if the message had only the custom smiley, then she/he sees an empty message
which is normally impossible to send).
