I have the same problem - and I only recently noticed this. The problem is that
me and my gf have been using Kopete for quite some time on the same computer,
but only now that she has her own computer we noticed this problem. When
messaged to each other, sitting in the same room and using two computers, we
noticed this.
She can send me a message, see it is sent but I never see it. It seems to
happen after we have had a conversation and I close the window and she sends a
new message. This is using Kopete 0.12.4 on KDE 3.5.6 (Kubuntu), the other
client is Microsoft's newest Live messenger on Vista. That means, this is MSN.
This is a _very_ serious bug!
