All contribution are always welcome, and I'm going to help you if you are 
willing to implement it. (I mean I'll reply your questions)

Anyway, I don't think that Kopete is the right application to read RSS feed.

I don't see the problem of running two separate application for two separate 
tasks.
We plan to maybe be integrated in Kontact, that would make only one "window" 
if this is the problem.

This is just my opinion anyway.
