You left one out: Runs only on the Linux/UNIX platform. Nearly all the other items listed run on windows or are web-based things. The best way I know to gain more users is to be better at what we're doing. To do that, we need more developers. Improving visibility is another story, since I don't really think anybody here is good at marketing.
