It's up to him. He can develop against 3.5 but we would recommend he develops versus trunk Kopete (KDE 4). For KDE 4.0 Kopete will not fully support Decibel so I recommend that he writes his protocol plugin as a native plugin. In 4.1 it will be possible to load Kopete plugins into Decibel as standalone processes so he wins both ways. > 2. Who can guide him? I can give some help, but I don't speak any Russian!
