I have an integrated Bison webcam in the laptop:
$ lsusb
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 5986:0100
and I can correctly see its capture with luvcview.
In Kopete, when I go to Settings -> Configure -> Devices, I only see a green
square where my webcam's image should be located.
If I go to the Controls tab, I see that all the adjustments are at the minimum.
If I try to raise any of them, Kopete crashes. The backtrace is:

On the uvc's mail list they told me about a patch
http://www.alexandredenis.net/software/kopete-uvc/ but, unfortunately, I do not
have the time to compile binaries from source.
