I'm wondering how hard to implement these features would be and how to go
about it. The features mimic gaim/pidgin behaviour.
In notifications we see it's possible to make a sound for incoming messages
but I think it would be nice to have this just for windows that are out of
focus and for new messages that start a conversation. After all, when I am
typing to someone in a window that has focus it isn't necesary to notify me
of a reply since I can see that.
But I do want to have a sound to tell me when a new message comes in and
put in the queue, or if a window is at the back.
I haven't delved into making plugins - my C++ is scratchy at best - but
would this involve making a plugin, or would it mean doing something with
kde notifications? Or both?
Any help/pointers would be gratefully appreciated.
