Yes, your plugin can go into the svn. first into playground until it has reached a stable state in his kde4 version. http://techbase.kde.org/Contribute/Get_a_SVN_Account Personally, I think you should better include this in KNotify directly. So the thinklight notification could work with every notification, including emails, or whatever.
