I dial-in to the internet via ISDN using kinternet and smpppd. Smpppd runs on a
seperate PC. I also use kopete with enabled SUSE smpppd-enabled connection
status plugin. Sometimes, kopete does not manage to connect to icq when I go
online and the flower is blinking forever. When that happens and I select
"Offline" and then "Online", kopete connects without problems. I'm pretty sure
it's because the connection plugin reports a ready line to kopete before the
ppp protocol has established a ready logical link or before the route entry for
the standard gateway is added.
