I can confirm that this bug exists for GMail users, on Kopete 0.12.7. New key
is generated in database for GMail users upon startup of Kopete. Thus
statistics appear to be lost.
Perhaps at this point not only does a fix *need* to be created, but a program
to parse the database and merge the multiple entries into one.
