Status: UNCONFIRMED

Quick description: I think the user should be able to change account icons,
per-account.
Long description, and the reason behind this:
Right now I have 3 Jabber/XMPP accounts. I will probably get at least one more
account in future.
Currently, Kopete shows all XMPP accounts using the same lightbulb icon. I can,
fortunately, change the color of each account, so I can differentiate them.
Unfortunately, the color is not enough. Just the color is not so easy to
discern them. In addition, the Hue information goes away because when contacts
are offline (in other words, offline icons are grey-ish).
So... here comes my suggestion: add support for custom account icons. With
this, I would be able to, let's say, use the GMail icon for my gtalk account,
use my company logo when for the company jabber account.
Details about how to implement this:
I think this can be implemented in two ways:
1. (simple customization) Let the user choose one image file (which, of course,
will be rescaled to the icon size) and draw the status info (like, away, N/A,
and so on) on top of the scaled image. This way, people can choose just a
simple icon/logo/photo and it will "just work".
2.(advanced/complete customization) Let the user choose one image file which
contains a series icons (placed side-by-side on this image file). Each icon
will represent one status. This way, people will be able to fully customize the
account icons.
Ideally, both things can be implemented, but I would love to have at least one
of them. Just think about people who have multiple accounts of the same type to
see how damn useful it will be.
