Doing some more research, the bug is not on Kopete but caused by odd Dante's
config. I have put down a simple socks.conf and managed to get it through
socks. My socks.conf:
route {
from: 0.0.0.0/0 to: 0.0.0.0/0 via: 192.168.187.62 port = 1080
proxyprotocol: socks_v4 # server supports socks v4
}
Doing more fancy stuff with socks.conf manages to break things. Closing as
resolved.
