I was not sure what to remove - I have installed Kubuntu on the virtual hard
disk and replaced the kopete_*.desktop files with the ones mentioned in
comments 19-22, but still no change.
Unfortunately, the Kubuntu packages doesn't seem to have debug symbols :(
