Hey, I have a good news: I just played a little more with kopete and it seems
that your first patch (the one where you used the QPointer) did fix the problem.
Apparently I just made some mistake patching the program back then :-/ (sorry
for that...)
I'll play with it a little longer but it seems that this bug is now completely
fixed! Thanks a lot! (and sorry for me applying the patch wrong)
