In kopete, menubar
Settings -> Configure Notifications ..
Check checkbox "Log to a file" in any event (i've selected "ICQ Reading
status", "Incoming message", "Offline", "Contact gone online", "Status change")
Press "OK"
And no any entries in selected log file. :(
Seems same problem with checkbox "Mark taskbar entry".
