I can't reproduce this with kopete from SVN trunk, so a backtrace would be
really helpful. You can also get a backtrace using gdb. First kill any existing
instance of kopete (killall kopete). Install gdb if needed, then execute kopete
in gdb:
gdb --args kopete --nofork
Enter "r" to run kopete. When it crashes, you can print the backtrace with "bt".
