It will discuss the emergence of philosophy from culture related to Islamic thought, both in general and the specific contributions of the indigenous cultures as well as the philosophy of Pancasila that adopted by the founding fathers of Indonesia. This series of conference is held from 5 to 15 January 2009 at several leading universities in five cities (Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang).. Also since 2005, ICAS opens for Bachelor program of Islamic Studies. ICAS provides the best opportunity for every student who eagerly seeks a deep understanding on Islam, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic thought to properly challenge contemporary problems and issues within its context.
