Read "man mkisofs" which is the CLI program that is being called by
the "cdrbq" GUI. Lots of clues, and hard to read.
It sounds like your software thinks you want to create a whole new
ISO9660 image starting from a Linux file system, and adding a boot
image to it.
If this is not what you are doing, and you are trying to copy an
existing CD, bootstrap and all, you have been led down the wrong path
by your "cdrbq". Cdrbq is a front end for "mkisofs" and "cdrecord".
You want to skip the "mkisofs" if you are copying an image of an
existing CD.
Of course, if disk 1/4 won't boot, you probably can't get a good copy
of its boot sector either. All things considered, you might just want
to get another copy of disk 1, either by downloading the "ISO" image
or by asking someone who has already done so to burn you a copy.
