Nope, never in the Army, or even in Alabama as an adult.
I put in 10 years in the Navy and then walked away from it in January 1981. Never looked back.
There are Rick Carlson 's everywhere. I have lived here for over 30 years and I am constantly meeting people who want to know if I am the Rick Carlson who used to be a SDPD Officer, or the one who ran for mayor back in the 80's, or the plumber, etc.
