Yeh. One of the problems of living in any culture is that you pay for 
other peoples stupid habits (like SUVs and huge expensive houses). 
It is one reason I hope to get out of SoCal one of these days. The 
only problem is that it takes more and more cash to stay even let 
alone get a little buffer to finance a get away.
