Turns out to be premature by about 5 minutes.  Enough time to fire up
gmail and complain about it.  :-)

Actually, on my FC3 system at work, I commonly see the DAMNED RED SPOT pestering me when both up2date and yum update say there's nothing to do.

Last week, the red spot told me there were 3 packages that needed updating. didnt' get around to it right away, so 3 hours later, I run up2date, and it only grabs one package. The other two are still in the red spot hounding me to upgrade them.

Seems to have resolved itself in the intervening time. Perhaps a withdrawn update announcement?
