If you used /var/qmail/bin/sendmail to deliver, and set QMAILINJECT="f" it doesn't matter what is in your client, they will be rewritten on send. Maybe postfix does something similar? I set my environment depending on what ego I'm using. Typically: ##################################### #### qmail stuff export MAILHOST="galis.org" export MAILUSER="george" export MAILNAME="George Georgalis" export MAILBCC="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" export QMAILINJECT="f" export QMAILMFTFILE=$HOME/.lists ##################################### Then in my .muttrc, just so I know who I am... set hdrs # include `my_hdr' lines in outgoing messages my_hdr From: $MAILNAME <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> my_hdr Bcc: $MAILBCC Maybe you can just substitute your name and address in the muttrc? // George -- George Georgalis, systems architect, administrator Linux BSD IXOYE http://galis.org/george/ cell:646-331-2027 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
