True. Luckily Apache is smart enough to grab port 80 and then drop its privileges, but it's definitely an important distinction.
Azureus is written in Java. It should have the same level of protection against buffer overruns as the Python version.
Ah ok, I hesitated when I wrote that since I've never really dealt with programming Java, but then remembered that Java had pointers and such so I figured it might remain possible to code an overrun situation. :)
