I think it's a combination of both demand and form factor. My impression is 
that the industry views laptops as more of a consumer item. Thus don't feel 
compelled to devote more resources to re-engineer their products. But I do 
think there would be a demand for laptops that have a bigger memory capacity. 
On the otherhand if Microsoft were to lead a initiative 'Dutch' I think it 
would happen.
