Good lord, I hope you're not implying that shell scripts should be done in *csh
shells. We have a ton of wrappers here they wrote in csh and boy does it cause
all kinds of problems. Things like "rediculously long path truncated" or just
bizarre environment problems when there are really long variables.
I've written a few pretty large bash scripts.. works pretty well. Though for
data munging I'd use perl or something. Or ksh is really slick for interactive
scripts.
