Just had a question for anyone that's flashed their WRT-54G with Sveasoft or
OpenWRT: is it possible, once the router is running the new firmware, to
re-flash it with the Linksys-supplied firmware?

Yes. Saving the ROM is part of the process (if you care). Though you can still brick it by not getting it into a state that you could reload the ROM anyway !

How do you save the ROM? I know you could get the old(and current) Linksys firmware from the Linksys website, and use that, but I haven't seen anyway to save the whole ROM. I do knwo you could save the configs.

The first step of one of my upgrades gave me 2 files to save away as backups so that I could restore the original if I wanted.
I've never kept them following my first successful flash, but it is provided...
