Instead of converting cassettes and movies to digital formats
why not download them with BitTorrent!!!!

Not only will you avoid doing some work but digital versions
will actually be BETTER since the originals are NOT analog!!!

You mean a rip of a digital version ?
Provided they are the same content, I couldnt' see why not
But the digital versions of some content (like Star Wars) are not the same as their analog versions (Star Wars on VHS doesn't have a digital version - HAN SHOT FIRST ! - unless you include Laserdisc), so you are not really getting a rip of the "same" product
