I was just at Fry's and they have the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 for sale at
$80. This is about $10-20 cheaper than anywhere else I've seen plus it
provides instant gratification to buy it now. It's not yet officially
supported for MythTV but there are already experimental drivers for it at
the ivtv project. Unfortunately, the sale ends today (04/04/2005). I bought
one in anticipation of building a MythTV recorder. I seem to recall that
Lan Barnes was looking into building one of these.

For anyone wondering, the only difference I see between the 150 and the 250
versions is that the 250 has hardware encoding for recording VCD. If I'm
going to do that I can always post-process the MPEG-2 files generated by
the original capture process.
