I would like to learn about using Gnumeric. There seems to be a
complete user's manual accessible from within the gnumeric program
itself by clicking on the <Help> button in the top row. Since I have
poor short-term memory for things presented as many small screenfuls,
I would like to make a printed copy of e.g. "Chapter 3 A Quick
Introduction". Short of taking screen grabs and printing them, I
don't see any way to get there from here. All of the source for this
manual exists online in <
file:///usr/share/gnumeric/1.2.13/share/gnome/help/gnumeric/C > but it
is .xml files which I don't know how to render into legible text.

Alternatively, I can find the same manual online at
< http://www.gnome.org/projects/gnumeric/doc >.
When I go to read Chapter 3, I find that a fair number of the
subsections of Chapter 3 are referenced as: 'href=".html"', rather
than a proper file name. This causes the web browser to barf with
"file not found". Oh, yes, I went so far as to "wget" the entire
manual in its html form. Those subsections are not just
mis-referenced, they are not present.

Is there any hope?
