Thanks Carl, I had tried that a few hours after I posted.. and a few other things. It looks like it's toast. I did find http://www.data-recovery-software.net/Linux_Recovery.shtml and its running now but timing out on CRC errors. It might be done scanning in a week or so. lol Anyone else know of any other data recovery tools I can try after this one?
