I created a new Fedora Core 2 PC with only a root account. All other (non-root) accounts exist on this PC via NIS and NFS. I can log in locally and everything is fine locally.
I cannot ssh from a remote PC because it never accepts my password!??!? For some reason, ssh isn't getting NIS password and other account info. How fix? chris P.S. My /etc/nsswitch.conf has this... passwd: files nis shadow: files nis group: files nis hosts: files nis -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
