I would think it depends on the nature of the viralness. IMHO the GPL is
a great license and I fully support the viralness of the GPL. Giving
people the right to take away your rights to the code is just silly. The
BK license appears to have been viral in a completely different and more
harmful way. The GPL viralness is trying to keep things open. The BK
viralness was trying to close things.
