FWIW I always use rm and then tab completion. At the appropriate moment,
it automagically quotes it.

This is where I consign space users in directory/file names to the 8th
circle of hell, and some of our professionally contentious members jump
in to defend this STUPID and MICRO$SOFTIAN practice.
