Here's the job description:

Seeking a UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator to work in its San Diego offices. 
The UNIX/Linux Administrator will be working within the Business Technology 
Management Group maintaining both back office and Data Center infrastructure. 
This opportunity is for someone interested in a variety of system management 
responsibilities across UNIX/Linux platforms not limited exclusively to systems 
administration. We are looking for a bright, outgoing, energetic individual 
with excellent interpersonal skills who will also be able to work one-on-one 
with end users providing user environment support.

Technical Requirements:
Candidates should possess 5-7 years of progressively responsible System 
Administrator experience on major corporate computing systems. Experience needs 
to include expert Solaris 9/10 administration and RedHat AS 3.0 administration 
skills in a cluster environment running Oracle 10g RAC & 10g Application Server.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
o Strong knowledge and experience in UNIX/Linux scripting, automation, and 
architecture in large production server environments from the design phase on.
o Thorough knowledge and understanding of UNIX/Linux characteristics and 
limitations, including standard daemons, protocols, security and applications.
o Knowledge of UNIX/Linux system/Network performance issues, plateaus, and 
solutions.
o Knowledge of IP networking concepts.
o Ability to plan, document, install and effectively implement complex server 
software across heterogeneous server and networking environments.
o Ability to diagnose server and network problems effectively to resolve issues.
o Ability to express oneself clearly and logically, both written and verbally, 
within a passionate technical team.
o Ability to set goals and execute.
o 24x7 Data Center Experience
o Strong UNIX/Linux shell scripting/automation experience (Bourne shell, bash, 
perl, sed/awk, etc.) 
o Strong UNIX/Linux preferred - architecture, implementation, monitoring, 
troubleshooting
o OS Protocols/Applications (DNS, SMTP, NFS, Apache, etc.) 
o Technical Documentation
o Clear programming style in scripting
o Clear communication
o Ability to prioritize
o Web Apache / Oracle Application Server
o IP Network Fundamentals
o Change Management Environment 
o Sun Fire and/or Dell PowerEdge hardware experience
o UNIX/Linux Grid Computing

Desirable Skills:
o Microsoft Windows 2K/2003 Administration Experience
o Single Sign On (SSO) Implementation using LDAP V3 compliant directory 
services.
